Emotional Freedom Techniques - Evidence-Based Treatment for Emotional & Physical Pain
Robin Bilazarian
9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
This workshop will teach how to combine therapeutic wording, including metaphors, with gentle, self-applied acupressure to calm emotions and ease the physical manifestations of stress. Acupressure calms the amygdala and relieves pain, similar to the acupuncture practice it is derived from. This method has the potential to become a preventative pain approach instead of prescribed opioids. This mind–body treatment has been the subject of more than 80 published research articles, making it evidence-based practice.
