ACEP is Seeking a New Executive Director



ACEP is actively looking for its next full-time executive director, as our current executive director is retiring.

Founded in 1999, ACEP is a 501C3 non-profit professional organization dedicated to the research, education, humanitarian work and promotion of energy psychology and energy practices among health professionals and the public throughout the world. 


We are seeking an executive director. This is a unique opportunity for someone who has a passion for making a difference in the world congruent with integrative or holistic health, energy healing, transformational learning and in-person/online education. We are looking for a seasoned leader who has the interest, temperament, and skills to lead and grow an entrepreneurial non-profit association at a national and international level. 


The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of growing and scaling revenue and businesses in a virtual and technology driven world into seven figures and beyond. If you are an experienced and wise leader who knows how to find the best in people, align and motivate people and build collaborative teams with a Board of Directors, team members, and other stakeholders, we would love to hear from you. The position requires an exemplary work ethic including hands-on work as we are a small team of four – for now.


Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership and Vision: Proven ability to set a clear vision and guide the organization through growth and change, with experience in strategic planning and effective implementation.


Growth and Scalability: Drive the company's growth and scalability by identifying opportunities for expansion including: establishing additional lines/funnels to increase leads, increasing the number of online courses, increasing membership, pursuing philanthropy and acquiring grants. 


Operational Leadership: Provide strategic and tactical guidance and leadership to all operational functions of the organization to optimize operational efficiency, including but not limited to technology, product development, customer support, marketing, and human resources. Examples include:

  • Establishing key measures for each operational function and monitoring performance against targets, implementing corrective actions as needed. 
  • Overseeing the daily business and administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency and improved synergies.
  • Overseeing/Managing the implementation of online and in-person educational/training programs and the annual conference to maximize quality and profitability. 


Team Leadership: Proven ability to recruit, lead, and inspire a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. It is also important to be aware of and sensitive to issues of diversity, equity and inclusion in the attainment of high performance. We value transparency, open and honest communication among the staff, contractors, and with our community. 


Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of financial strategies and management, with experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning.


Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance the organization’s reputation and promote strategic relationships.


Experience

  • Five or more years of professional experience in operations and management, preferably in healthcare, integrative health, online learning, or association management.
  • Proven ability to successfully grow and scaling an organization beyond six figures.
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in business management or nonprofit management or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience in supporting a Board of Directors, managing teams, supporting cross-functional collaboration, developing staff, and setting clear goals.
  • Experience with building out and improving cloud-based systems for CRM, online courses, sales, etc.
  • Experience in revenue development strategies, including earned revenue, increased membership, finding and obtaining grants and/or fundraising strategies.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial forecast models and control expenses while supporting organizational growth. 
  • Ability to translate ideas from, within, and among different generations and cultures.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 


Experience in some or all of the following:

  • Online marketing
  • In person and/or online training, and/or grant acquisition and management 
  • In-person and/or online program development
  • Growing and implementing humanitarian activities
  • Expanding reach and impact through public relations

The position can be hybrid or completely virtual
Salary: $110,000 to start
Stipend toward medical insurance
