Policy Makers, Healthcare/Organizational/ Government Leaders

Reduce stress and trauma while increasing peace in your communities and organizations.

Energy psychology methods produce measurable results in less time by...

  • Calming the body (where stress is stored). This is a missing key to unlocking rapid change.
  • Reaching more people, with fewer resources. Scalable and cost efficient.
  • Training community leaders and lay counselors. Not everyone needs a trained professional.
  • Being easy and enjoyable to use. There are self-help tools.
  • Improving performance and functioning.

Effective. Evidence-based.

Exactly what is energy psychology? Discover the definition.

Tens of thousands of professionals throughout the world, and a robust body of research show these methods work, time after time, in a wide variety of situations.

For example, studies have shown that energy psychology has helped…

Veterans heal PTSD - get the details

  • Students reduce anxiety

  • Rwandan genocide survivors heal trauma

  • Overweight people reduce food cravings

Over 176 research studies have been published in professional and refereed journals, and 99% document energy psychology’s effectiveness.

  • 88+ randomized controlled trials

  • 88+ pre-post outcome studies

  • 6 meta-analyses show effective treatment for depression, anxiety and PTSD

  • 2 randomized control trials using biologic or genetic outcome measures document positive outcomes for EP methods.

  • fMRI study documents neural changes after using energy psychology

Solutions for Critical Challenges

Reducing PTSD in veterans

Current standards of care for veterans with PTSD are inadequate; with poor success rates, long wait times for treatment, and continued high suicide rates. Research shows that energy psychology appears to be twice as effective in half the time. Get more information

Application: Veterans

Reducing stress and fight/flight responses inherent in tough jobs

First responders and law enforcement officers encounter high-stress situations as part of their daily work. If the effects of this stress are not cleared from the body-mind system, future performance suffers, and decision-making can be impaired. EP techniques can be used as a rapid self-help program to regulate the autonomic nervous system (like taking a shower to remove the stress) preventing dysfunction before it begins and improving performance.

Applications: First responders, police, military

Helping people control pain and heal addiction

Addiction to opioids is an epidemic. Success rates for current treatments are marginal.

Energy psychology approaches have been shown to reduce symptoms in the short term and treat the hidden traumatic stresses that appears to be a significant contributor to the development and maintenance of these problems.

Applications: Pain patients, addictions

Helping children manage stress in and outside the classroom

Stress and anxiety among young people have grown to alarming proportions. Energy psychology programs can easily be integrated into classroom learning so that a) students are more ready to learn and b) these approaches become a whole person resource that can be used throughout the lifecycle.

Applications: students K-12 and college, teachers

"One thing which has amazed and surprised me is that TFT is rapidly spreading in Rwanda. Whenever we attend any [genocide] commemoration event organized in different places far from Kigali, we always find people using TFT. Sometimes I ask them, ‘Why do you apply these techniques for treating people?’ They tell me, because they heal people very quickly."  - Rev. Celestin Mitabu

Helping USA students focus

"During the 2019-2020 school year, I met monthly with teachers serving grades pre-k through 8 in the U.S. to introduce energy psychology skills to staff and students. Overall, teachers reported that students were more focused and attentive. They witnessed students using the technique on their own."

Aiding communities facing natural and manmade disasters

Traumatic events like mass shootings, war, and natural disasters can create lasting scars and impaired lives, sometimes for generations. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Energy psychology has an array of simple tools that can help ease stress and trauma, enabling people to live with greater calm and make better choices, regardless of their circumstance. It has helped survivors of massive fires, hurricanes, shootings, genocide and more to get on with their lives.

Training Community Leaders and Lay Counselors Helps Heal Trauma in Rwanda

"In Rwanda, people do not like to talk about their problems. And helping professionals are in short supply. The Thought Field Therapy Foundation’s first trauma relief deployment in Rwanda occurred in 2006. Initially, TFT Foundation therapists treated Rwandans, including over 500 street children in a Kigali shelter. However, they discovered that training local community leaders to treat others was more efficient and effective. As of today, the TFT Kigali team and the TFT Izere Center team have treated over 20,000 Rwandans. Almost none of the Rwandans who treat others, or even Rwandans who train others in TFT, are mental health professionals."

Helping to heal adverse childhood events (ACEs)

The role of adverse childhood events (ACEs) in creating long term negative outcomes throughout the lifecycle has been well established. High levels of ACEs have been correlated with domestic violence, drug addition, depression, and suicide, as well massive increases in heart disease, cancer and other medical problems, at a lifetime cost in trillions of dollars. Energy psychology’s high level of effectiveness at treating the effects of ACEs in a short time presents the possibility of vastly improving quality of life while saving billions of dollars.
