I received a BS in nursing in 1966 and worked mostly as a Public Health Nurse and in home health care management. In 1987 I received my MS degree in counseling psychology and became licensed in 1990. My background, training and experience includes head injury rehab and counseling for patients and families, individual and group counseling for sexual abuse survivors, support groups for men and women, and grief and loss counseling. Last year I completed a one year program training in a variety of types of energy work through Capacitar (an international program to teach healing techniques to survivors of war and other traumas). I have had a private practice since 1990 and provide individual, group and family therapy.
