Amber Carver is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) with a decade of experience serving clients in private practice. She received her BS in Psychology from Lincoln Christian University and her MA in Counseling from Regent University. She went on to complete a certification in Nutritional Therapy from the Nutritional Therapy Association. Amber helps her clients achieve mental health and wellness by operating from an integrative perspective. She utilizes a variety of holistic health strategies to help her clients reach their goals. She has a strong understanding of the relationship between nutrition and mental health, and she uses this connection to help her clients heal from the inside out and create lasting change in their lives. Amber is skilled in Group Therapy, Holistic Health, Nutrition Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, and Health Coaching. She uses a range of modalities to facilitate healing, including Positive Psychology, Emotion Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), the Gut-Brain Connection, and breath work. She strongly believes each person has the power within themselves to heal and make the changes necessary to live their healthiest life. Amber offers individual therapy, and she has a special place in her heart for women and mothers who are struggling to prioritize their own needs as they care for others. Amber has experience in treating anxiety, stress, disordered eating, body image and self-esteem issues. She can also help clients with blood sugar regulation, digestive wellness, gut health, sleep issues, autoimmune health, and fatigue.
