When you have the privilege of doing what you love every single day, the meaning of work transforms into something extraordinary. I am continuously filled with humility, gratitude, and awe when I witness the remarkable successes my clients achieve during our sessions together. The chance to create a healing space for profound, lasting change has been a gift, made possible by incredible teachers, compassionate ancestors, and the amazing individuals I work with. My journey has equipped me with diverse training and certifications, including board certification in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry, a variety of energy psychology modalities, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, Neurodynamic breathwork, and hypnosis through three esteemed organizations. I've embraced trauma-informed coaching, functional medicine, various pain therapies, and Healing Touch and earned a Gold-level certificate with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. I am honored to serve as the president of ACEP's board, guest faculty for FSS, and host monthly case consultations for the Iowa Chapter of the Psychedelic Medicine Association, along with several groups of inspiring colleagues in shamanism and breathwork. My journey into energy psychology began through my functional medicine training, and I will always be grateful for this. I take pride in being a lifelong student, a mindset I cherish in my healthcare providers. At Eastwind Healing Center, I offer a unique blend of services, including medication management and psychotherapy, licensed in Iowa and Colorado. I also run a separate coaching and healing practice where I provide Healing Touch for pets and people, Core Shamanic healing, and wellness and performance coaching. I ensure that my psychiatric patients receive the care they need without crossing into the realms of coaching and wellness clients. Still, I am fortunate to have an outstanding network of colleagues to whom I can refer for any additional services my clients may desire. Together, we are part of a vibrant community committed to healing and transformation, nurturing the potential for greatness within each person we encounter.
