9 Free Ways to Keep the Conference Alive in Your Life

Kirtsten May Keach, MA, LMFT • Jun 26, 2023

The 2023 conference has ended, but the magic of energy psychology is just beginning to take root in your life - or deepen if you've already been using it. Year after year, amazing, talented healers, thinkers and luminaries come together to learn, teach, grow and vibe together at our international energy psychology conference.

The power of this conference and the connections made within don’t stop when the doors close. In fact, the end of the conference is the beginning of a new you bringing a higher vibration of health and healing into your life and the lives of those you touch - whether this is your first conference or your fifth! Keep this exponential momentum going by using the following opportunities to stay connected with ACEP's Energy Psychology Community.

Did you miss the conference this year? Most of these tips can help you as well.

  1. Use the Conference recordings - We know the conference is full of juicy knowledge drops. It’s too much to integrate all at once. You can access and listen to any keynotes, invited presenters or break-out sessions that you may have missed, or experience your favorites once again.
  2. Take & share the Emotional First Aid Course - The emotional first aid course is a free online training that teaches you how to utilize energy-based emotional first aid techniques. This resource is not limited to ACEP members and can be shared with members of your community. Sign up here.
  3. Access the resources for resilience website - The resources for resilience website has a series of free videos that teach mind-body-energy tools to help with crisis situations. These resources are great for practitioners and lay people alike.
  4. Join a committee - Want to help energy psychology keep growing? ACEP has a variety of committees (including the communications committee who writes these blogs) that are committed to helping ACEP and the field of energy psychology grow, spread, and strengthen.
  5. Get a conference buddy- Did you meet some spectacular people at the conference? I know I did. Ask one to be your energy psychology (EP) buddy. Having regular contact with someone else who is integrating this information can support and accelerate your process
  6. Get listed on our practitioner directory- Ready to bring more EP interested clients into your practice? Complete your profile on our practitioner directory and get the flow moving. (Available for ACEP members only. Not a member? Join us today!)
  7. Connect with your local or regional group- Bring ACEP by home by connecting with a local or regional group in your area. Most meet online as well as onsite. If you don’t find one, inquire about starting one.
  8. Start or revamp your daily EP practice- Energy psychology techniques work best when we use them! If you have an EP practice, consider integrating some new tools (if you haven’t already). If you’re new to EP, start a daily routine. Keep it simple and let it grow.
  9. Follow our blog- Here at the communications committee we are members of ACEP, just like you, from all over the world, trying to help spread the message and bring EP home. Keep up with our blog for the latest research trends and practical tools.

The end of the conference is just the beginning of the transformation. From here, you get to choose how you bring these powerful teachings, techniques, and relationships forward in your life and community. We hope that you use this as a launching point to move yourself, your profession, and the EP movement forward into a positive future.

Finally, here's one more way you can keep the conference alive all year long. Join ACEP as a member if you haven't already! There are so many benefits. Explore them and join us today!

When you are feeling exhausted and need a pick-me-up, try bouncing up and down on the balls of your feet. You can also sit in a chair and massage your heel and ankle areas. The Heel Shock Release is a simple body-based technique that will help you reawaken your energy system. The technique comes to us from Donna Eden . Practice the technique right now by watching the video below and following along. Remember to try it next time you are feeling exhausted but can’t take a nap! You can also download written instructions in English , Spanish , and Portuguese .
